I am currently exploring the idea of participating in a craft market for the first time and I am in the process of considering various patterns to find the right items to create and showcase at the event. During my search, I stumbled upon a charming and delightful little dress that I believe would make a wonderful keychain for any girl or lady to use. I am excited about the possibility of incorporating this idea into my craft market merchandise and am looking forward to exploring other creative concepts as well.
I started off by creating a unique item for myself. After seeing how well it turned out, I decided to make one for a friend as well. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and it felt like a fire was ignited inside me. Suddenly, I found myself creating more and more of these items, and before I knew it, I had a collection of about a dozen. Each item was crafted with care and precision, and it brought me great joy to see others appreciate my work.

Upon receiving the news of my impending nephew's arrival, I was overjoyed and brimming with excitement. My mind was immediately flooded with ideas about what I could make for him. I spent hours poring over patterns and considering various options. After much deliberation, I finally decided to crochet a beanie for him, using the step-by-step instructions provided by Crochet For Life.
Although I contemplated making other items, such as a cozy blanket or a pair of adorable booties, I ultimately settled on the beanie as it seemed like the perfect choice. However, I didn't just stop at the beanie; I also purchased another gift for my nephew and even crafted a handmade toy for him. I couldn't wait to meet him and see his reaction to all the love and care that went into his gifts.
By the way, I'm curious to know how did aunt do?

Let's discuss the colour combination. Doesn't the grey and yellow look amazing? Take a look at the mesh details on the side. Although the top may seem simple, I think the mesh on the side makes up for it. Do you agree?

π€ I hope everything is going well for you. I wanted to share that I made a really cute and simple top recently... This top took less than 30 minutes to make... But!! Baby!! These fringes took all day to cut and assemble. They also took a lot of yarn. But can I say it was all worth it? My only regret is not taking a picture before adding those fringes. Guess I was too excited.
This top was one of Shyler Crochets' designs. I am attaching the video so you can make your own if you think this top is a must-have in your closet. I've also added a little snippet showing just how cute this top really is.
Had to make another to show the top before the fringes (sample in size small)

With that being said. Here is a top I made sometime in 2023. I got the inspiration from Shyler Crochets. It was of an asymmetrical bandeau top. I watched the video (see below).
Decided I would use a yarn I had in my stash. It was just one skein and not sure if I'd said this before, but I think I am somewhat delusional when it comes to how much yarn I need to do a project. I never seem to gauge it right... I always think "It's a small project, so this small skein/ball will do". Silly, silly me. This project was no different, so here I thought my one skein of this discontinued yarn would be enough.
I liked the colour and the little sparkle and shine, so of course I made it work. This just meant I had to improvise, and as you may have noticed, I don't mind doing so.

One day while browsing through YouTube, feeling rather bored, I found this cute summer top from one of if not my favourite crochet designers, Shyler Crochets.
I watched the full video, gathered my supplies and before I knew it two tops were completed. I made one longer than the other. I also made it my own by piping the tops with an accent colour and adding a little bow. Let me know what you guys think.

Although the weather is always warm in Jamaica, summer is the perfect time for sun, sand, and sea. Today, I am excited to share a cute pair of shorts I made using LaDenser Crochet's design.
Recently, I felt down and needed a way to cheer myself up. I decided to browse YouTube and came across a new video from LaDenser Crochets. After watching the video, I was inspired to make a pair of shorts using her design and a new yarn that I purchased from Temu.com.
I enjoyed working with this design because it was easy to modify according to my preferences. The pattern was simple to follow, and though I initially wanted to make a pair of plain white shorts, I decided to mix things up a bit. Overall, I think the end result turned out quite well. Don't you all think so?
The issue is finding a cute top that would pair well with my shorts, and I would be super chic... Can't wait to wear these.

How's it going? I hope you're having a fantastic day! Now get ready to put on your sunglasses because things are about to get bright and sunny up in here!
So, let's talk about bikinis. With summer in full swing, it's time to show off that beach body and rock your favourite swimwear. That's why I came up with a three-piece beachwear set that will have you turning heads on the shore.
It all started with a mesh skirt that I crocheted, and from there, the bikini set was born. I mean, who wouldn't want a matching crochet bikini to go with their skirt? I know I would!
After visiting me at home my sister - the owner of Di Buzz 876 Boutique, fell in love and decided to take a few pictures and add them to her store listing. I'm thrilled that it's getting attention!

I was commissioned to reproduce a 3 piece swimsuit from a picture. I was a bit nervous as this was the first time I would be making something for this customer. She sent me the picture and I studied it and did a little more research to ensure I was confident about taking on this job.
You may be wondering what's the big deal, right? Well being a perfectionist and a believer that my work speaks volumes and is a representation of myself. I tend to worry a lot about doing a great job. With my confidence boosted, I began to ask the pertinent questions and request the measurements required to ensure I would get a good fit.
My customer was not good at taking measurements so she decided it was best to drop by and allow me to take what I needed. With measurements done and colours decided on.
I started with the easiest of the three pieces the Bralette. I then went to the bikini (if I am being honest this is the piece I was most worried about). Then finally the skirt and I am all done.
Can you tell she was satisfied with her order?
What she sent vs what I did... Did I do a good job?
