The Mad Hatter (Part 5)

Part 5,  this one was on the knitting needle at the same time as the number 2. Can you tell I was really charged up?  Caramel in color, the concept is a modified basket weave stitch.

The Mad Hatter (Part 4)

 Hi Loves, 

Part 4 and the second hat of the four for my cousin. This is like milk chocolate brown in color, this one made me do a double take.  

Why, you ask?...

Well, I initially thought of doing the brim flat and then joining but I didn't like it when I did.  I frogged it, start over joining from the get-go and it turned out to be her fave.  Let me know if it is your fave as well.  


 

 



 




 

 




 



 


 



 



 
 

Sadly this was the last time she wore it as it was lost that day.

The Mad Hatter (Part 3)

 Hi Loves, 

Here is part 3 showing yet another knitted hat.  The story surrounding this hat, and the other 3 hats in the next 3 posts to follow is that an order came from my cousin after seeing the slouchy in "The Mad Hatter (Part 1).  She requested it but it was made for someone else.  She then asked if I could make her one or two.  I was never given a colorway, and feeling very creative before I knew it, I made four for her to choose from.  Here is #1:
