Foundation Single Crochet
Hi Loves
We will be learning about the Foundation Single Crochet (FSC) stitch today. This stitch has you completing the chain and single crochet rows in one go (2 rows in one). Now, isn't that fun?
This would be a great way to start a project that requires a lot of beginning chains. Imagine not having to chain 200 and then single crochet (sc) across before you can start your project. This stitch will have you completing these 2 steps in one go. Not only would this make it easier to start working on that fun piece you can't wait to see finish but would lessen your beginning time. Now that's a win-win for me.
How is it done?
To do this particular stitch we begin by chaining 2, then insert your hook in the first chain from the hook, yarn over pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through one loop, yarn over then pull through both loops. To make another FSC, insert your hook into the V that was formed at the back of the first stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over pull through the first loop, yarn over then pull through both loops. You would continue for the number of stitches you need for your project.
Let us get some visuals and for that, we would like to thank Evelyn And Peter Crochet for those visuals..

The Knitted Popcorn
Hi Loves.
"Wow, time flies! It's already the third month of the new year and this is only my second post. I didn't mean to stay away for so long, but unfortunately, there were some circumstances that were out of my control. I hope you all missed me as much as I missed you."
In the previous post, we spoke about the crochet popcorn stitch. This post will be about the knitted version of the popcorn stitch.
So without further ado, let us dive into how the stitch is made. To make the knitted popcorn stitch we work the same stitch multiple times by knitting and purling in that stitch 6 times, sliding the stitch off the left-hand needle then decreasing the stitches on the right-hand needle until only one stitch remains. We then continue working on our piece as usual.
In this post, I would like to thank Alexis Winslow for her easy-to-follow tutorial on how to do the knitted popcorn stitch.

The Mad Hatter Finale
Hi Loves
Part 6, the final of "The Mad Hatter" posts, the last one of the four hats, and the second one she took. With 2 other hats on my needles, my mind was already pondering other designs, so I cast on a third. I fell in love with the heart of the hat pattern in the second Mad Hatter post and thought to make my own design with a heart for an adult-size slouchy. Because she liked the grey color and I knew I wouldn't have enough to make her a complete hat (shhh don't tell anyone), the decision was made to do it in 2 colors. It turned out quite lovely, don't you think so?

Thank you loves for taking a read. Live, Love, Laugh... Until next time. Khenzuri

The Mad Hatter (Part 3)
Hi Loves,
Here is part 3 showing yet another knitted hat. The story surrounding this hat, and the other 3 hats in the next 3 posts to follow is that an order came from my cousin after seeing the slouchy in "The Mad Hatter (Part 1). She requested it but it was made for someone else. She then asked if I could make her one or two. I was never given a colorway, and feeling very creative before I knew it, I made four for her to choose from. Here is #1:

The Mad Hatter (Part 2)
Hi Loves,
As promised this is part 2 of the update on what I have been up to why it seems I was neglecting you all. Again I am sorry for my absence. For part 2 we will be looking at pictures of 2 baby beanies. I was commissioned to make one but I couldn't decide on which color I should use. I asked if I could make both instead and the go ahead was given (how awesome that was for me).

The Mad Hatter (part 1)
Hi Loves,
I hope you don't think I have been neglecting you all. Honestly, I am still learning to juggle a business, a family and all the social media shebang all at once. I agree that I am not good at it but is willing to learn. It would be great to be able to have a way to post to all at once wouldn't that be grand. If any of you know a way that I can please feel free to share.
Now for today's post, I would like to share a few pictures with you of what I have been up to. It's going to be a few post as though I have been absent I have been busy. Hope you all like it. Before I show you the first slouchy, let's get a little back story.
So, a few months before I made this exact slouchy (see my cute little model) along with a black one for a client (see first 2 pics). Fast forward she requested the same one as it was liked and taken by a friend. Funny thing was I did it all without a pattern, but the good thing was I was the one who designed it. I took one look at the phone and replicated my design.
