Welcome to another blog, where I show you things I've made... 🎉 When you ask? Who knows. 😅 I amaze myself at how many things I make in a week, a month and even a year. 🤩 Sadly there are things I've made and haven't photographed for the mere fact that I tend to work mostly at night. 😔 I also don't have good equipment to facilitate my nightly excursions lol.. 📷 There are also the reasons of needing to deliver the items quickly and time did not permit the taking of photos due to poor lighting. 🕰️ I do promise to get my act together and ensure I document all my exploits. 🤞
With that being said. Here is a top I made sometime in 2023. I got the inspiration from Shyler Crochets. It was of an asymmetrical bandeau top. I watched the video (see below).
Decided I would use a yarn I had in my stash. It was just one skein and not sure if I'd said this before, but I think I am somewhat delusional when it comes to how much yarn I need to do a project. I never seem to gauge it right... I always think "It's a small project, so this small skein/ball will do". Silly, silly me. This project was no different, so here I thought my one skein of this discontinued yarn would be enough.
I liked the colour and the little sparkle and shine, so of course I made it work. This just meant I had to improvise, and as you may have noticed, I don't mind doing so.
Are you ready for some magic? 🎩 Please lift the curtains and voila! 🎉 Behold the stunning transformation! It's like a whole new world out there. Isn't it exciting? 😃
